Global Restaurant Investment Forum Announces Speakers


GRIF has announced an inspiring speaker panel to kickstart proceedings for its flagship, annual three-day conference – Amsterdam 2020. A stellar line-up of speakers, just revealed, is only the start of what’s to come from GRIF 2020:Amsterdam, with 70 more speakers still to be announced.

GRIF – Global Restaurant Investment Forum – is a global hospitality conference that showcases pioneers in the field of hospitality and restaurant investment; it’s at the forefront of a growing industry.

The 7th annual Global Restaurant Investment Forum will give industry innovators a platform to discuss and debate. Those confirmed include:

Mourad Mazouz, Founder of Sketch London, which he opened in 2002 with three Michelin starred Chef, Pierre Gagnaire. Sketch is a tribute to superb gastronomy and cutting-edge art, and is now donned a London institution having won a host of major awards including two Michelin stars. Other popular establishments from Mourad include Momo, Kwant and KM5 bar and restaurant, in Ibiza.
Chef, Pierre Koffman, who within six years of opening La Tante Claire, in Cheslea, had been awarded the maximum three Michelin stars, making him one of only three chefs in the UK to achieve such an accolade.
Jeremy King OBE, Co-Founder & CEO, Corbin & King – together with his business partner, created some of London’s most iconic establishments, including The Wolseley, The Delaunay, Zédel, Colbert, Fischer’s and Café Wolseley.
Henry McGovern, Founder and former Chief Emotional Office, AmRest, has earned his reputation as one of the leading entrepreneurs and most successful businessmen in Europe. AmRest is leading restaurant company in Europe, an operator of world class brands as KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, La Tagliatella, Blue Frog, Bacoa and Sushi Shop, with over 2,100 restaurants across 26 countries,
Fyodor Ovchinnikov, Founder & CEO, Dodo Pizza, a digital-first pizza delivery franchise. Founded in 2011, the brand has more than 510 pizzerias in 12 countries in Europe, Asia, and the US. Currently, Dodo Pizza is the largest pizza company in Russia (it’s as big as Domino’s and Papa John’s combined) and is one of the world’s fastest-growing pizza chains.

Sparking innovation amongst its attendees, GRIF 2020: Amsterdam will combine expert speakers with debate on current industry topics, culinary tours, a sponsor exhibition, and network receptions, round tables and an online networking platfom. This global conference will play host to some of the industry’s greatest pioneers; creating an event where like-minded individuals can discuss the changing landscape of the market, in terms of developments and challenges.
